Critical Thinking – Reflecting on Thinking, Actions and Processes Students will develop knowledge about when and how to use particular strategies for learning and problem solving. Reflecting on Thinking and Processes 1. Think about Thinking (Metacognition) Students will be able to provide reasons to support their thinking, show awareness of opposing viewpoints and weaknesses in their own positions. Also be able to set personal goals for further development of critical thinking. 2. Reflect on Processes Students will evaluate the effectiveness of solutions and implement improvement to achieve desired outcomes. 3. Transfer Knowledge into New Contexts Identify, plan, justify and then evaluate the effectiveness of new knowledge to different contexts.
